The Oil Painters of America National Exhibition will be on display for one more week - thru May 16, 2021 - at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
This great photo of Charles' painting "The Light of Other Worlds" hanging with her new friends at the opening reception comes courtesy of fellow exhibiting artist Pauline Roche.

"The Light of Other Worlds" has finished her cross-country trek and has safely arrived in California!
She'll be part of the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition, which opens April 9 at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido Museum.

We're very honored to have "Radiant Selene" accepted into the American Impressionist Society Small Works Exhibition, hosted this year by Reinert Fine Art in Charleston SC. The show opens April 1.
In Greek mythology, Selene is the personification of the moon, sister to both Helios the sun and Eos the dawn.

| Oil Painters of America 2020 Eastern Regional Exhibition Gold Medal |
After a circuitous cross-country trip, Charles' gold medal for "Whispers" has arrived in the mail. We're still a little stunned!
Back in late December we made a quick trip over to Reinert Fine Art in Charleston SC to see the Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional Exhibition, and to bid a fond farewell to "Whispers" before she was off to her new home.
