Three of Charles' paintings have been named as finalists in this year's ARC Salon, a sensational online exhibition of representational work put on by the Art Renewal Center.
"The Silver Mask" is included in the Figurative category, and both
"The Eternal Dance" and
"A Private Audience" are part of the category Imaginative Realism.
Created by the Art Renewal Center, the ARC Salon has grown to be one of the largest and most prestigious exhibitions of representational art. This year's Salon includes 1006 works created by 640 artists from 63 countries.
ARC Chairman Fred Ross, in his message on the Salon website, says:
"The quality of the work in this year's ARC Salon is nothing short of sensational, showing a richness and diversity of styles and subject matter comparable to the heyday of the Paris Salons and Royal Academy Exhibitions in the late 19th century. Without fail, each and every year that the ARC Salon has taken place, the quality, beauty and poetry of the works entered rise to ever-higher levels of achievement. The current ARC Salon is a testament to the character and nobility of the human spirit."
