Join us at Kudzu Art Zone in Norcross GA for Charles' first workshop of 2011. Utilizing the still-life, the focus of this workshop will be to inspire the student to move forward into a more satisfying way of handling paint - to gain control of the rich medium of oil paint with confidence and understanding.
Charles will challenge those who attend to develop a painting using a logical and progressive approach, to paint directly without drawing or under-painting. Informative and passionate, he approaches art instruction by addressing visual principles and the material power of technique to equip the student with the skills to fulfill their own artistic vision.
The weekend will begin with a Thursday evening demonstration (which will also be open to the general public for a small fee), followed by 3 full days at the easel.
